The human brain: a stereotyping machine

We’ve all heard clichés about disability. Perhaps they wouldn’t be too bad if they didn’t help to create an inflexible, stereotyped view of people who are in disabling situations – one that can sometimes lead to biased decisions being made. 

This learning session offers you an opportunity to redraw the mental images that society shapes for us, giving you a better understanding of the potential pitfalls that can crop up in response to disability.
