What were things like before? Our current views on disability are shaped by the past. Thankfully, the way in which people in disabling situations are treated has improved over time. Responses to disability also vary from country to country. 

This learning session gives you the opportunity to explore the attitudes towards – and myths and legends surrounding – disability across different cultures, helping you to work out where certain stereotypes come from and ultimately encouraging you to question how we perceive disability today.
